Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEVELYNE (EVY) DYCK (nee DERKSEN) Peacefully passed from this life into Heaven to be with her Lord Jesus on Saturday, June 22, 2013, at age 53. Beloved wife of Gerry for 28 years; cherished mother of Jesse, Rachel Molly, and Rebecca Jane; and loved sister of Linda McBurney, Waldy Derksen and Shelley Derksen. Daughter of Victor and Elvira Derksen and daughter-in-law of Nettye and the late Abe Dyck. Evy will also be greatly missed by the entire Derksen and Dyck families as well as community and neighbours in St. Jacobs and Winnipeg. Predeceased by infant son Jacob Victor. Evy was a member of Waterloo Mennonite Brethren Church and a longtime volunteer Strings teacher at St. Jacobs Public School. A funeral service will be held at Waterloo MB Church, Waterloo on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. A memorial service will be held at McIvor Avenue MB Church, Winnipeg on Monday, July 1, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. Condolences for the family and donations to Waterloo Mennonite Brethren Church or The Waterloo Education Fund Inc. with designation to The Evy Dyck Strings Program may be arranged through the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo at www.erbgood.com or 519-745-8445.
